Morcha is a Punjabi terms which means a public "agitation" or "demonstration" or "gathering" against a wrong done, usually by the incumbent government or other authority which is in control of a region.

Examples of use

1. Shiv Sena would organise farmers' morcha in Vidarbha to draw attention to Maharashtra Government's 'apathy' on the agrarian crisis in the region....

2. The Muslim Action Force, a newly formed non-political outfit, will take out a silent morcha on January 31, protesting the alleged exploitation of the Muslim community by the Maharashtra government.
