Miri Piri Academy, Amritsar

Miri Piri Academy is an international boarding school for students in grades one through twelve. The students who attend this educational institute come to Amritsar, Punjab, India from all over the world to find a place where they can combine a full academic curriculum with daily spiritual and yogic practice. Based upon the teachings of our founder, the Siri Singh Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogi. The school’s program and curriculum are designed to prepare the students for the physical, mental, and spiritual challenges of life in accordance with Sikhi principles.

The academic program undertaken by the institute is accredited by the University of Cambridge International Examinations, and the school offers both IGCSE and A-Level Certification. This solid academic foundation is combined with a unique opportunity for practice and mastery of Kundalini Yoga and meditation. Balancing ‘Miri’ and ‘Piri', the temporal and the spiritual realms the school boosts that their "graduates enter the world with the knowledge and the experiences that they will need to excel".

Miri Piri Academy is located in the Indian state of Punjab in northern India just outside the city of Amritsar. The campus spreads out over 17 acres of rural land and rests in the peaceful village of Chheherta. The location is close enough to Amritsar to allow the staff and students to frequently visit the Harimandir Sahib (Golden Temple).
