ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

ਪਾਰਬ੝ਰਹਮ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਸਤਿਗ੝ਰ ਆਪੇ ਕਰਣੈਹਾਰਾ ॥ ਚਰਣ ਧੂੜਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਕ੝ ਮਾਗੈ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਾ ॥੧॥

ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਜਿਉ ਰਾਖਹਿ ਤਿਉ ਰਹੀਝ ॥ ਤ੝ਧ੝ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਾ ਨਾਮ੝ ਜਪਾਵਹਿ ਸ੝ਖ੝ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਿਤਾ ਲਹੀਝ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਮ੝ਕਤਿ ਭ੝ਗਤਿ ਜ੝ਗਤਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਜਿਸ੝ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਿ ਕਰਾਇਹਿ ॥ ਤਹਾ ਬੈਕ੝ੰਠ੝ ਜਹ ਕੀਰਤਨ੝ ਤੇਰਾ ਤੂੰ ਆਪੇ ਸਰਧਾ ਲਾਇਹਿ ॥੨॥

ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਨਾਮ੝ ਜੀਵਾ ਤਨ੝ ਮਨ੝ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਹਾਲਾ ॥ ਚਰਣ ਕਮਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਧੋਇ ਧੋਇ ਪੀਵਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਤਿਗ੝ਰ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥੩॥

ਕ੝ਰਬਾਣ੝ ਜਾਈ ਉਸ੝ ਵੇਲਾ ਸ੝ਹਾਵੀ ਜਿਤ੝ ਤ੝ਮਰੈ ਦ੝ਆਰੈ ਆਇਆ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਪ੝ਰਭ ਭਝ ਕ੝ਰਿਪਾਲਾ ਸਤਿਗ੝ਰ੝ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੪॥੮॥੫੫॥

Soohee, Fifth Mehla:
The True Guru is the Transcendent Lord, the Supreme Lord God; He Himself is the Creator Lord.
Your servant begs for the dust of Your feet. I am a sacrifice to the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan. ||1||
O my Sovereign Lord, as You keep me, so do I remain.
When it pleases You, I chant Your Name. You alone can grant me peace. ||1||Pause||
Liberation, comfort and proper lifestyle come from serving You; You alone cause us to serve You.
That place is heaven, where the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises are sung. You Yourself instil faith into us. ||2||
Meditating, meditating, meditating in remembrance on the Naam, I live; my mind and body are enraptured.
I wash Your Lotus Feet, and drink in this water, O my True Guru, O Merciful to the meek. ||3||
I am a sacrifice to that most wonderful time when I came to Your Door.
God has become compassionate to Nanak; I have found the Perfect True Guru. ||4||8||55||

kurabaan jaaee ous vaelaa suhaavee jith thumarai dhuaarai aaeiaa || naanak ko prabh bheae kirapaalaa sathigur pooraa paaeiaa ||4||8||55||
