Maan or Mann ਮਾਨ are a caste and tribe of the Jat and Saini people found in Rajasthan,Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh in India.

A Small Percentage of People of this surname exist in the Saini Caste too. The are mostly around the Area of Banga Town, Kot Fatuhi, Hoshiarpur and Panjaur in Punjab. They are the Result of Jat and Saini Clan Exogamy's. They became Maan Saini's from Maan Jats in A Cultural Exchange. Mostly in the Banga Town which happens to be Previously Dominated by Saini's of Banga Gotra and Later became dominated by Maan Jats. The Banga Town was Named after Banga Saini's.
