Lakhi Jungle KHalsa is a pious Composition in Raga Maajh, was said to be composed by Guru Gobind Singh. related to Lakhi Jungle aka Forest Lakhi, which is situated 15 km from Bathinda, on the way to Muktsar. It is believed that this composition was composed by GurSikh of Guru Gobind Singh as this is not present in Dasam Granth, moreover the term Buffaloe for khalsa could not be used by Guru Sahib himself. Still this shabad is beautiful shabad in Sikh literature.
ੴ ਸਰੀ ਵਾਹਿਗਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫ਼ਤਹਿ ॥
ਮਾਝ ਸਰੀ ਮਖਵਾਕ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ੧੦॥
ਲੱਖੀ ਜੰਗਲ ਖਾਲਸਾ, ਦੀਦਾਰ ਆਇ ਲਗਾ, ਤਬ ਉਚਾਰ ਹੋਇਆ ॥
ਲੱਖੀ ਜੰਗਲ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਆਇ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਕੀਤੋ ਨੇ ॥
ਸਣ ਕੈ ਸੱਦ ਮਾਹੀ ਦਾ ਮੇਹੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਘਾਹ ਮਤੋ ਨੇ ॥
ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਨ ਰਲੀਆ ਕਾਈ, ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ੋਕ ਪਯੋ ਨੇ ॥
ਗਿਆ ਫਿਰਾਕ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਮਿਤ ਮਾਹੀ, ਤਾਹੀ ਸ਼ਕਰ ਕੀਤੋ ਨੇ ॥
