KhalsaLiterally "belonging only to the divine." Sikh.The term is derived from the land specially reserved for the family of Mughal emprors of India. It was the most fertile land and looked after personally by the empror.it appears therefore to mean"close or beloved to God". Khalsa mero roop hai khas, khalsa maen haon kroh niwas. The idea of purity and pollution is foreign to sikhism and does not apply to an army(akalpurukh ki fauj.)
The collective body of all initiated Sikhs, who drink the amrit instituted by 10th Guru of Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh, and agree to live by the highest ideals of Sikh principles. Committed to one's own purity of consciousness and actions

The Profile of Khalsa was envisioned by Guru Nanak as IDOLs of TRUTH ,and formally documented in the begning of holy SatGur in the Theology of Sikhism encapsulated in Mool Mantar.

It was about 200 Years later,when Guru Gobind Singh formally declared Khalsa as ONE Nation.The Nation encompassing the entire Humanity as reflection of one univeral all prevasive & All-in-One one 'TRUTH' alias GOD irrespective of any cast / creed / racial / social / political discrimination.
Khalsa, a true soldier of the order of Khalsa, is a saintly person, a true saint & a mighty warrior, a powerful SuperWo/Man. A person who can restrain the natural outgoing tendency of the mind and the senses. SHe is a seeker after nothing but TRUTH. Through self discipline SHe enjoys eternal bliss and is ever immersed in perennial peace. He lives Truthfully & wages a war against Falsehoodin order that the good and innocent people of the world might live in peace, and enjoy reasonable happiness. The self is the fountain-source of immortality, eternal bliss and enduring tranquality
