Kamaljit Kaur Khalsa (born 1982 in Dehradun, UP), is a Gurbani singer. She performs the Sikh devotional music, kirtan and tours around the world for the Kirtan. She lives in Amritsar, Punjab. She completed her MA in Gurmat Sangeet and got the Gold Medal.

Early life and education

Her family moved to Punjab when Kamal was two, living in Gurdaspur. During her childhood, she played kirtan with her father in Sikh temples and at Sikh religious ceremonies.When she was just four, She started to sing the Sabad of Gurbani. She attended Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary School in Gurdaspur for her basic education. While at childhood, she played with the different musical instruments, in the school time, She started to participate in the competitions of State level and National Level.

After Ss from Gurdaspur, Kamal attended BBKDAV College, Amritsar, receiving a bachelors degree in Music. She then attended Punjabi University, Patiala for the masters degree in Gurmat Sangeet, She study Kirtan under her Father(in her Childhood) And teacher, Dr. Gurnam Singh.
