It is through the actions of the Khalsa that I have been victorious, and have been able to give charities to others.
It is through their help that I have overcome all sorrows and ailments and have been able to fill my house with treasures.
It is through their grace that I have got education, and through their assistance I have conquered all my enemies.
It is through their aid that I have attained this status, otherwise there are millions of unknown mortals like me.

judhh jithae einehee kae prasaadh einehee kae prasaadh s dhaan karae ||

einehee kee kripaa kae sajae ham hai(n) nehee(n) mo so gareeb karor parae || 2 ||

This is a Shabad by the tenth Sikh master in which in humility and such nimrata the Guru praises the Khalsa. It is amazing how humble the Guru was?

Despite that fact that he was a marvellous soldier and highly intelligent person, he says that he has attained his status because of the Sikhs, “einehee kee kripaa kae sajae ham hai” – It is because of the kirpa (blessing) of them (‘einehee kee’ referring to the Khalsa) that I am established (‘sajae ham hai’).

“nehee mo so gareeb karor parae” means ‘otherwise there are millions poor (‘gareeb’ = poor) like me. (karor=crore=millions)

Listen and enjoy!
