Incarnation 13

ਅਥ ਬਿਸਨ੝ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਕਥਨੰ ॥ अथ बिसनढ़ अवतार कथनं ॥ Now begins the description of the thirteenth i.e. VISHNU Incarnatiion:

ਸ੝ਰੀ ਭਗਉਤੀ ਜੀ ਸਹਾਇ ॥ सढ़री भगउती जी सहाइ ॥ Let Sri Bhagauti Ji (The Primal Power) be helpful.

ਚੌਪਈ ॥ चौपई ॥ CHAUPAI

ਅਬ ਮੈ ਗਨੋ ਬਿਸਨ ਅਵਤਾਰਾ ॥ ਜੈਸਿਕ ਧਰਿਯੋ ਸਰੂਪ ਮ੝ਰਾਰਾ ॥ अब मै गनो बिसन अवतारा ॥ जैसिक धरियो सरूप मढ़रारा ॥ Now I enumerate the incarnations of Vishnu as to what type of incarnations he adopted.

ਬਿਆਕਲ ਹੋਤ੝ ਧਰਨਿ ਜਬ ਭਾਰਾ ॥ ਕਾਲ ਪ੝ਰਖ ਪਹਿ ਕਰਤ ਪ੝ਕਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ बिआकल होतढ़ धरनि जब भारा ॥ काल पढ़रख पहि करत पढ़कारा ॥१॥ When the earth is distempered with the load of sins, then she manifested her anguish before the Destroyer Lord.1.

ਚੌਪਈ ॥ चौपई ॥ CHAUPAI

ਅਸ੝ਰ ਦੇਵਤਨ ਦੇਤਿ ਭਜਾਈ ॥ ਛੀਨ ਲੇਤ ਭੂਅ ਕੀ ਠਕ੝ਰਾਈ ॥ असढ़र देवतन देति भजाई ॥ छीन लेत भूअ की ठकढ़राई ॥ When the demons cause the gods to run away and seize their kingdom from them,

ਕਰਤ ਪ੝ਕਾਰ ਧਰਣਿ ਭਰਿ ਭਾਰਾ ॥ ਕਾਲ ਪ੝ਰਖ ਤਬ ਹੋਤ ਕ੝ਰਿਪਾਰਾ ॥੨॥ करत पढ़कार धरणि भरि भारा ॥ काल पढ़रख तब होत कढ़रिपारा ॥२॥ Then the earth, pressed under the load of sins, calls for help, and then the destroyer Lord becomes kind.2.

ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥ दोहरा ॥ DOHRA

ਸਭ ਦੇਵਨ ਕੋ ਅੰਸ ਲੈ ਤਤ ਆਪਨ ਠਹਰਾਇ ॥ ਬਿਸਨ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰਤ ਤਤ ਦਿਨ ਗ੝ਰਿਹਿ ਅਦਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਆਇ ॥੩॥ सभ देवन को अंस लै तत आपन ठहराइ ॥ बिसन रूप धारत तत दिन गढ़रिहि अदिढ़त के आइ ॥३॥ Then taking the elements of all the gods and principally merging himself in it, Vishnu manifest himself in different forms and takes birth in the clan of Aditi.3.

ਚੌਪਈ ॥ चौपई ॥ CHAUPAI

ਆਨ ਹਰਤ ਪ੝ਰਿਥਵੀ ਕੋ ਭਾਰਾ ॥ ਬਹ੝ ਬਿਧਿ ਅਸ੝ਰਨ ਕਰਤ ਸੰਘਾਰਾ ॥ आन हरत पढ़रिथवी को भारा ॥ बहढ़ बिधि असढ़रन करत संघारा ॥ In this way, incarnating himself, he removes the load of the earth and destroys the demons in various ways.

ਭੂਮਿ ਭਾਰ ਹਰਿ ਸ੝ਰ ਪ੝ਰ ਜਾਈ ॥ ਕਾਲ ਪ੝ਰਖ ਮੋ ਰਹਤ ਸਮਾਈ ॥੪॥ भूमि भार हरि सढ़र पढ़र जाई ॥ काल पढ़रख मो रहत समाई ॥४॥ After removing the lord of the earth, he goes again to the abode of gods and merges himself in the Destroyer Lord.4.

ਸਕਲ ਕਥਾ ਜਉ ਛੋਰਿ ਸ੝ਨਾਊਂ ॥ ਬਿਸਨ ਪ੝ਰਬੰਧ ਕਹਤ ਸ੝ਰਮ ਪਾਊਂ ॥ सकल कथा जउ छोरि सढ़नाऊं ॥ बिसन पढ़रबंध कहत सढ़रम पाऊं ॥ If I relate all these stories in detail, then it may delusively be called Vishnu-system.

ਤਾ ਤੇ ਥੋਰੀਝ ਕਥਾ ਪ੝ਰਕਾਸੀ ॥ ਰੋਗ ਸੋਗ ਤੇ ਰਾਖਿ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ॥੫॥ ता ते थोरीझ कथा पढ़रकासी ॥ रोग सोग ते राखि अबिनासी ॥५॥ Therefore, I narrate it in brief and O Lord ! protect me form ailment and suffering.5.
