Gurudwara Shri Qila Fatehgarh Sahib is situated in the city of Sri Anandpur Sahib of Ropar Distt. The Fort was built By Guru Gobind Singh to defend the Anandpur Sahib city in the territory of sahota village. When this Qila was being constructed, Sahibzada Fateh Singh ji was born hence it was named Qila Fatehgarh Sahib. Fatehgarh means 'Fort of Victory' and the word Qila also means victory.

Gurudwara Qila Fatehgarh Sahib, situated on the northern outskirts of the town of Anandpur, marks the site of another fortress bearing this name. The present building was constructed during the late 1980's under the supervision of the successors of Sant Seva Singh of Qila Anandpur. The Gurdwara is a two-storeyed domed building. In front of it is an old well which once served the needs of Fatehgarh Fort.

Qila Fatehgarh- reminds us of the long, long struggle between the [[Mughal]s and great defenders of 'Anandpuri'.
