Gurdwara Sahib,Chail,Distt.Solan [HP]
This Gurdwara Sahib was built in 1907 by Maharaja of Patiala,Bhupinder Singh. Grandfather of Capt. Amrinder Singh, ex . CM of Punjab. The Govt. of Himachal Pradesh has appointed A Granthi Singh for the caretakeing of Gurdwara Sahib. HP Govt.has appointed this Granthi as part time [4 hrs-daily wages bases] appointment. But he is paying all duties of Granthi,Sewadar,Gardner,Watchman as well of Sweeper's duty 24 hrs.along with his wife & 3 school going daughters. -Govt.is paying him just Rs.60/- per day basis . There is much to do for the Gurdwara Sahib to fulfill the basic needs.
