Typical Kirpan with Gatra worn by Sikhs at Important Ceremonies

Gatra is a strap normally made from cloth to wear the kirpan, one of the Sikh articles of faith around the neck and shoulder so that it allows the kirpan to be suspended near one's waist or tucked inside one's belt.
