ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੩ ॥ ਕਲਮ ਜਲਉ ਸਣ੝ ਮਸਵਾਣੀਝ ਕਾਗਦ੝ ਭੀ ਜਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥ ਲਿਖਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਜਲਿ ਬਲਉ ਜਿਨਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਦੂਜਾ ਭਾਉ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਪੂਰਬਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਕਮਾਵਣਾ ਅਵਰ੝ ਨ ਕਰਣਾ ਜਾਇ ॥੧॥ {ਪੰਨਾ 84}

ਕਲਮ pen ਜਲਉ Let it burn to ashes ਸਣ੝ alongwith ਮਸਵਾਣੀਝ inkpot ਕਾਗਦ੝ paper ਭੀ also ਜਲਿ burn to ashes ਜਾਉ let it ॥ ਲਿਖਣ wrote ਵਾਲਾ one who ਜਲਿ Burn to Ashes ਬਲਉ Towering Flames ਜਿਨਿ one who ਲਿਖਿਆ wrote expressions ਦੂਜਾ duality ਭਾਉ implying ॥

• Let the Pen burn to ashes alongwith the inkpot. Let the paper as well burn to ashes. Let one who wrote expressions implying Duality burn as well in Towering Flames.
