Nymphomaniacs, Flaterry, Ego and Foolishness are primary issues which are explored in this Charitar. A Careless husband and a Nymphomaniac lady.

1) '''Nymphomaniac''': Hypersexuality is the elevated desire to engage in human sexual behavior at a level high enough to be considered problematic socially and clinically significant. Nymphomania was believed to be a female psychological disorder characterized by an overactive libido and an obsession with sex. In males the disorder was called satyriasis. The Lady was having sex with multiple person which shows that she was a nymphomaniac. To fulfill her sexual desires she did sex with multiple persons. She even mislead her husband by excess of buttering. Such lady have no place in society and Gurmat too.

2) '''Flaterry:''' Flattery (also called adulation or blandishment) is the act of giving excessive compliments, generally for the purpose of ingratiating oneself with the subject. Here, Lady was trying to win husband by telling himself saint and true devotee of Guru, which result in his egotism. If someone is praising you in excess then remember he is injecting the drug to make you intoxicate in false proud. A Sikh shall aware of this, for that he need intuitive and discerning mind.

3) '''Carelessness and Loyality:''' No Loyality of Wife toward husband moreover no care of husband for wife, such relation is not successful. Guru Amardas Said:

1) Nymphomaiac's flaterry: The Lady was having sex with multiple person which shows that she was a nymphomaniac. To fulfil her sexual desires she did sex with multiple persons. She even mislead her husband by excess of buttering. Flattery is praise of somewhat dishonestly. People bootlick other person to gain favor by cringing and flattering such person is called Toady or flatterer. The Lady called Nand Mati was a toady for sake of sex she praise his husband.

They are not said to be husband and wife, who merely sit together.<br>

This is practical charitar which we see around world. Youth and others have relation with people which are illegal in eye of Dharma. They ditch their own spouses for sake of sex. In Gurmat, a Suchaji is one which accept his husband as his lord and Kuchaji is one which entangle in worldly pleasures and get away from his husband. Even in spiritual terminology it's same for souls. How could one stop such relations? only if he/she comes to Gurmat. If he learns Gurmat. If he not just read but understands gurbani. If a youth, whose age is to control himself from worldly pleasures and to understand god put into these matter and have sex with one two three girls, He is nothing but Spoiled. He is away from path of Dharma. Same applicable to girl too.

People, even oldsters, says Charitropakhyan increases their sexual desires, this is answer to their question that they have no study of GUrmat. gurmat makes person WISE not foolish like male character of charitar, Gurmat makes lady loyal not like Nymphomaniac shown in this charitar. Gurmat helps you to read story and come with a moral which help you to guide world not to take sex from these tales and spread hatered against bani just because of your ignorance, unenlightenment, rawness, and nescience.

Charitar 49, also called Tale of Nanad Mati, is a Charitar (tale of trickery) mentioned in Charitropakhyan, a Bani complied by Guru Gobind Singh. It is about a Manmati (self-centred) Lady barber named Nand Mati of Anandpur, who was affected with excessive sexual desire. His husband was a foolish and lethargic person that he does not care of her wife's action. Moreover he was obsessed with false praise done by his own wife. She says him a saint type person and a Saint of dark age of kalyug. In Ego he thought himeslf saint of saints and doesn't care for his wife wrong action and haven't guided her the true way.

Background of Charitropakhyan

Charitropakhyan is conversation between a wise adviser (minister or "manteree" ਮੰਤ੝ਰੀ s ) to Raja (king) Chitar Singh; each charitar or trick is mainly in connection with the wiles of women (plus a few connected with men) and other worldly tales of life, in order to save his handsome son Hanuvant from the false accusations of one of the younger ranis (queens). The minister tries to explain to the Raja that there can be trickery in human behaviour and that one needs to analyse the situation carefully before drawing any quick conclusions. Charitar means Function or behavior

Guru Gobind Singh has given these "opakhyan" (already told) stories to Khalsa, as a guide to upholding morality. The tales highlight Human psychology and behavior, by people driven by desires, lust, jealousy and/or greed, ignorance etc. and tell how these evil doers can utilize tricks or deception or charm or other activity to cover their tracks. The purpose of the stories is for us to learn about negative(Manmat) and positive(Gurmat) human behaviour by people who are driven by evil intent. One needs to tread carefully in life and understand the many negative traits exist in some evil doers. These Charitars includes Male and Female Charitars.

What Gurmukh Learns from it

Nymphomaniacs, Flaterry, Ego and Foolishness are primary issues which are explored in this Charitar. A Careless husband and a Nymphomaniac lady.

1) Nymphomaniac: Hypersexuality is the elevated desire to engage in human sexual behavior at a level high enough to be considered problematic socially and clinically significant.

2) Flaterry: Flattery (also called adulation or blandishment) is the act of giving excessive compliments, generally for the purpose of ingratiating oneself with the subject. Here, Lady was trying to win husband by telling himself saint and true devotee of Guru, which result in his egotism. If someone is praising you in excess then remember he is injecting the drug to make you intoxicate in false proud. A Sikh shall aware of this, for that he need intuitive and discerning mind.

3) Carelessness and Loyality: No Loyality of Wife toward husband moreover no care of husband for wife, such relation is not successful. Guru Amardas Said:

They alone are called husband and wife, who have one light in two bodies. ||3||
