Sheedees with Guru Teg Bhadur Ji
Bhai Mati Dass ji was a great Mayter from the time of Sri Guru Teg Bhadur ji.He had a choice to embrace islam or die.Bhai Mati Dass Ji chose death.When he was about to die he was asked if he one had one last wish.His last wish was to be with Guru Teg Bhadur Ji when his sheedee time came.Bhai Mati Dass Ji was sawed in half.while he was being sawed he showed no sign of pain.He was actually doing Japji Shaib.Even after they sawed his mouth Japji Shaib kept coming out.
Bhai Sati Dass Ji was also with him.He got wrapped arfound in cotton and set on fire.He did not give up faith.
Also with them was Bhai Dayala Ji.He was boiled alive.Look at how amazing our ansectors were!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They surrenered to Guru Ji with Body,Mind and Soul.They kept their faith.Always remember their legacy.DO NOT FORGET.Keep it alive forever.Our roots are deep and Beautiful!!!!!!!!Keep the Chardi Kala going.

The word Sakhi means a story. It is a long tradition for Sikh children to learn Gurmat principles through these stories or Sakhis.
