Bhai Adali, of Chohla Sahib village in present day Amritsar district of Punjab, was a Sandhu Jatt, and a devoted Sikh contemporary of Guru Ram Das Ji (1534-1581), the fourth Sikh Guru and Guru Arjan Dev Ji (1563-1606), the fifth Sikh Guru. He later went to to the Manjke region of Punjab, modern day Jalandhar district of Punjab, In the village of Garcha, where he also meditated.
