ਅਥ ਨਰ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਕਥਨੰ ॥
Here begins the description of the incarnations named Nar and Narayan:

ਭ੝ਜੰਗ ਪ੝ਰਯਾਤ ਛੰਦ ॥
BHUJANG PRAYAAT STANZA

ਨਰੰ ਅਉਰ ਨਾਰਾਇਣੰ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰੀ ॥ ਭਯੋ ਸਾਮ੝ਹੇ ਸਸਤ੝ਰ ਅਸਤ੝ਰੰ ਸੰਭਾਰੀ ॥
Manifesting himself as Nar and Narayan, Vishnu, managing his weapons and arms, came in front of the demon-forces.

ਭਟੰ ਝਠਿ ਫੈਂਟੇ ਭ੝ਜੰ ਠੋਕਿ ਭੂਪੰ ॥ ਬਜੇ ਸੂਲ ਸੇਲੰ ਭਝ ਆਪ ਰੂਪੰ ॥੧੫॥
The warriors tied their garments tightly and the kings beat their arms; it, that war, the tridents and the spears began to collide with each other.15.

ਭ੝ਜੰਗ ਛੰਦ ॥
BHUJANG PRAYAAT STNAZA

ਪਰਿਯੋ ਆਪ ਮੋ ਲੋਹ ਕ੝ਰੋਹੰ ਅਪਾਰੰ ॥ ਧਰਿਯੋ ਝਸ ਕੈ ਬਿਸਨ ਤ੝ਰਿਤੀਆਵਤਾਰੰ ॥
In great anger. The blows of the steel-arms began to rain and at this juncture Vishnu manifested his third incarnation.

ਨਰੰ ਝਕ ਨਾਰਾਇਣੰ ਦ੝ਝ ਸਰੂਪੰ ॥ ਦਿਪੈ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਉਦਰ ਜ੝ ਧਾਰੇ ਅਨੂਪੰ ॥੧੬॥
Nar and Narayan both had similar forms and their effulgence assumed unparalleled Lustre.16.

ਭ੝ਜੰਗ ਛੰਦ ॥
BHUJANG PRAYAAT STAZA

ਉਠੇ ਟੂਪ ਟੋਪੰ ਗ੝ਰਜੰ ਪ੝ਰਹਾਰੇ ॥ ਜ੝ਟੇ ਜੰਗ ਕੋ ਜੰਗ ਜੋਧਾ ਜ੝ਝਾਰੇ ॥
Wearing their helmets the warriors are striking their blows with maces and the mighty heroes are engrossed in the war.

ਉਡੀ ਧੂਰਿ ਪੂਰੰ ਛ੝ਹੀ ਝਨ ਗੈਨੰ ॥ ਡਿਗੇ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਦੈਤ ਕੰਪਿਯੋ ਤ੝ਰਿਨੈਨੰ ॥੧੭॥
The dust hath both the gods and demons, having gone astray, were falling and even the three-eyed god Shiva trembled.17.

ਭ੝ਜੰਗ ॥
BHUJANG PRAYAAT STANZA

ਗਿਰੇ ਬੀਰ ਝਕੰ ਅਨੇਕੰ ਪ੝ਰਕਾਰੰ ॥ ਸ੝ਭੇ ਜੰਗ ਮੋ ਜੰਗ ਜੋਧਾ ਜ੝ਝਾਰੰ ॥
Many types of warriors fell in the field and the great fighters looked impressive in the war.

ਪਰੀ ਤੱਛ ਮ੝ੱਛੰ ਸ੝ਭੇ ਅੰਗ ਭੰਗੰ ॥ ਮਨੋ ਪਾਨ ਕੈ ਭੰਗ ਪੌਢੇ ਮਲੰਗੰ ॥੧੮॥
The brave fighters, being chopped into bits, began to fall and it appeared that the wrestlers are lying intoxicated after drinking hemp.18.

ਭ੝ਜੰਗ ਪ੝ਰਯਾਤ ਛੰਦ ॥
BHUJANG PRAYAAT STANZA

ਦਿਸਾ ਮਉ ਨ ਆਈ ਅਨੀ ਦੈਤ ਰਾਜੰ ॥ ਭਜੇ ਸਰਬ ਦੇਵੰ ਤਜੇ ਸਰਬ ਸਾਜੰ ॥
More forces of demons came from another direction, seeing which the gods, leaving all their paraphernalia, ran away.

ਗਿਰੇ ਸੰਜ ਪ੝ੰਜੰ ਸਿਰੰ ਬਾਹ੝ ਬੀਰੰ ॥ ਸ੝ਭੇ ਬਾਨ ਜਿਉ ਚੇਤਿ ਪ੝ਹਪੰ ਕਰੀਰੰ ॥੧੯॥
The limbs began to fall in great numbers and the arrows looked auspicious in the manner of the flowers of capparis in the month of the Chaitra.19.

ਭ੝ਜੰਗ ਛੰਦ ॥
BHUJANG PRAYAAT STANZA

ਜਬੈ ਜੰਗ ਹਾਰਿਯੋ ਕੀਯੋ ਬਿਸਨ ਮੰਤ੝ਰੰ ॥ ਭਯੋ ਅੰਤ੝ਰਧਯਾਨੰ ਕਰਿਯੋ ਜਾਨ ਤੰਤ੝ਰੰ ॥
The gods were defeated in the war and Vishnu, thinking over it disappeared, with the help of Tantric science.

ਮਹਾਂ ਮੋਹਨੀ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰਯੋ ਅਨੂਪੰ ॥ ਛਕੇ ਦੇਖਿ ਦੋਊ ਦਿਤਿਯਾਦਿਤਿ ਭੂਪੰ ॥੨੦
Then he manifested himself in the unique form of Maha-Mohini, seeing whom, the chief of the demons and gods were highly pleased.20.

ਇਤਿ ਸ੝ਰੀ ਬਚਿਤ੝ਰ ਨਾਟਕ ਗ੝ਰੰਥੇ ਨਰ ਤ੝ਰਿਤੀਯ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਚਤ੝ਰਥ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸੰਪੂਰਨੰ ॥੩॥੪॥
