In Sikh Ideology, Ashta Siddhi (ਅਸਟ ਸਿਧਿ) means "Understanding of Eight qualities of Almighty". Siddhi signifies comprehension (Sojhi) and Asht means Eight. It is also called Ashta Maha Siddhi in Adi Granth Sahib. It is seperate from Das Ashat Sidhan (ਅਸਟ ਦਸਾ ਸਿਧਿ) which means understanding of 18 Puranas.

Following are eight qualities(Ashta Dhaatu) of The Supreme One to comprehend upon:

  1. Oankar,
  2. Satnaam,
  3. KartaPurakh,
  4. Nirbhao,
  5. Nirvair,
  6. AkaalMurat,
  7. Ajooni,
  8. Svaibhang.

The aim of Gursikh is to understand all eight qualities and practice the same to become part of The Supreme One. When soul receives divine wisdom (Naam), all Eight Siddhis are accomplished by the same. In Metaphor, It is also called Eight Hands of Soul.
