1705 Guru Gobind Singh writes his 'Epistle of Victory' the Zafarnama.
1706 Guru Gobind Singh compiled the second edition of the Guru Granth Sahib in 1706 at Damdama Sahib near Bhatinda, Punjab. The scribe was Bhai Mani Singh, a classmate of Guru Gobind Singh.

1720: Bhai Taru Singh was born in 1720 at Puhia village, now in Amritsar district of the Punjab. He attained Shaheedi (martyrdom) on 16 July 1745

1787: Birthday of Bhai Santokh Singh, (8 October 1787 - 19 October 1843) the noted author of six works - Naam Kosh, Guru Nanak Parkash, Garb Ganjni Teeka (teeka means translation and explanation of a work), Balmik Ramayan, Atam Purayan Teeka and his magnum opus, Sri Gur Partap Suraj Granth aka Suraj Parkash, was born on 8 October 1787.

1704: 21 March Peer Buddhu Shah (13 June 1647 - 21 March 1704) passed away on 21 March 1704'. He was born on 13 June 1647 at Sadhaura. He was a Muslim divine whose real name was Badr ud Din; he was an admirer and ally of Guru Gobind Singh.

1705: Demise of Mata Gujri (1624 -1705) (whose formal name was 'Mata Gujar Kaur'); the the wife of the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur; the mother of the tenth and last human Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh and the grandmother of the four Sahibzade.

1708 Demise of Bhai Daya Singh (26 August 1669 - 1708) soon after joti jot of Guru Gobind Singh. Bhai sahib was the first of the Panj Piare or the Five Beloved celebrated in the Sikh tradition, was the son of Bhai Suddha, a Sobti Khatri of Lahore, and Mai Diali.

1747: Demise of Mata Sahib Kaur (1 November 1681 - 1747): She was born on the 1 November 1681 in a village called Rohtas, District Jehlum, in West Panjab, (now in Pakistan). She left for heavenly abode at the age of sixty six in 1747 and her last rites were performed in Bala Sahib, Delhi.
