The Samadh of Ranjit Singh Shere-e-Panjab, where Ranjit Singh was cremated, Maharaja Kharak Singh and Maharaja Kanwar Nau Nihal Singh, also cremated here, later The ashes of Rani Jind Kaur were also buried here. The Samadh was built between 1839-1848, during the last days of the Sikh Empire.
