- June 27: 1839: Maharaja Ranjit Singh (13th November 1780 - 27 June 1839) also called "Sher-e-Punjab" ("The Lion of Punjab") was the principle Sikh ruler of the sovereign country of Punjab and the Sikh Empire. This great warrior, fearless soldier, able administrator, clement ruler, a statesman and liberator of Punjab died on 27th June 1839.
- July 27: Guru Tegh Bahadur taken into custody by Nur Muhammad Khan Miraza of Ropar Police post, on 27 July, 1675 (Savan 12,1732) at Malikpur Ranghran, Pargana Ghanaula, and sent to Sirhind.
- July 27: Birthday of Baba Zorawar Singh, the son of Guru Gobind Singh. He was born at Anandpur in 27 July, 1694.
- September 27: Birthday of Sahibzada Jujhar Singh (27 September1 1691 - 7 December 1705), the second son of Guru Gobind Singh, was born to Mata Jito ji (also known as Mata Sundari ji) at Anandpur on 27 September 1691 (as per Nanakshahi calendar).
