The Samadhs of Maharani Nakain Chand Kaur and Gulab Kaur are located on the grounds of Govt. Islamia College Civil Lines. The college is in front of the office of SSP adjacent to the Lahore District Court. The bigger samadh, at the centre, is that of Maharani Nakain Chand Kaur who was also known as Maharani Datar Kaur. She was the wife of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and the mother of Kharak Singh.

On its right is the samadh of Maharani Chand Kaur who was the wife of Maharaja Kharak Singh and the mother of Maharaja Nau Nihal Singh. A third samadh, the one on the left, belongs to Ghulab Kaur the wife of Kanwar Nau Nehal Singh.

Maharaja Nau Nihal Singh, more commonly known as Kanvar Nau Nihal Singh, who died before any official ceremony of investiture, recieved minor injuries in a suspicious accident on the day of his father's cremation. He was found dead a few days later. Dogra duplicity was suspected in his and his mother's later death.

The three Samadhs were built during the last days of Sikh rule. At present the office of the college functions in these samadhs. The buildings are strong and have remained in good condition due to their location and use as offices within the college's compound.
