Ghalughara is a word in Punjabi which refers to the massive "Sikh massacre" or "Sikh Holocausts" and is used for the 2 tragic massacres of Sikhs during 1700s. The tragic events of 1984 when 1000's of Sikhs when murdered in India in 1984 has become the "Third Ghalughara".
