ਜਾਪੈ ਆਪਿ ਪ੝ਰਭੂ ਤਿਹ੝ ਲੋਇ ॥
जापै आपि पढ़रभू तिहढ़ लोइ ॥
Jĝpai ĝp parabẖū ṯihu loė.
God Himself appears throughout the three worlds.

ਜ੝ਗਿ ਜ੝ਗਿ ਦਾਤਾ ਅਵਰ੝ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥
जढ़गि जढ़गि दाता अवरढ़ न कोइ ॥
Jug jug ḝĝṯĝ avar na koė.
Throughout the ages, He is the Great Giver; there is no other at all.

ਜਿਉ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਉ ਰਾਖਹਿ ਰਾਖ੝ ॥
जिउ भावै तिउ राखहि राखढ़ ॥
Jio bẖĝvai ṯio rĝkẖahi rĝkẖ.
As it pleases You, You protect and preserve us.

ਜਸ੝ ਜਾਚਉ ਦੇਵੈ ਪਤਿ ਸਾਖ੝ ॥
जसढ़ जाचउ देवै पति साखढ़ ॥
Jas jĝcẖao ḝėvai paṯ sĝkẖ.
I ask for the Lord's Praises, which bless me with honor and credit.

ਜਾਗਤ੝ ਜਾਗਿ ਰਹਾ ਤ੝ਧ੝ ਭਾਵਾ ॥
जागतढ़ जागि रहा तढ़धढ़ भावा ॥
Jĝgaṯ jĝg rahĝ ṯuḝẖ bẖĝvĝ.
Remaining awake and aware, I am pleasing to You, O Lord.

ਜਾ ਤੂ ਮੇਲਹਿ ਤਾ ਤ੝ਝੈ ਸਮਾਵਾ ॥
जा तू मेलहि ता तढ़झै समावा ॥
Jĝ ṯū mėleh ṯĝ ṯujẖai samĝvĝ.
When You unite me with Yourself, then I am merged in You.

ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰ੝ ਜਪਉ ਜਗਦੀਸ ॥
जै जै कारढ़ जपउ जगदीस ॥
Jai jai kĝr japao jagḝīs.
I chant Your Victorious Praises, O Life of the World.

ਗ੝ਰਮਤਿ ਮਿਲੀਝ ਬੀਸ ਇਕੀਸ ॥੨੫॥
गढ़रमति मिलीझ बीस इकीस ॥२५॥
Gurmaṯ milīai bīs ikīs. ||25||
Accepting the Guru's Teachings, one is sure to merge in the One Lord. ||25||

ਝਖਿ ਬੋਲਣ੝ ਕਿਆ ਜਗ ਸਿਉ ਵਾਦ੝ ॥
झखि बोलणढ़ किआ जग सिउ वादढ़ ॥
Jẖakẖ bolaṇ kiĝ jag sio vĝḝ.
Why do you speak such nonsense, and argue with the world?

ਝੂਰਿ ਮਰੈ ਦੇਖੈ ਪਰਮਾਦ੝ ॥
झूरि मरै देखै परमादढ़ ॥
Jẖūr marai ḝėkẖai parmĝḝ.
You shall die repenting, when you see your own insanity.

ਜਨਮਿ ਮੂਝ ਨਹੀ ਜੀਵਣ ਆਸਾ ॥
जनमि मूझ नही जीवण आसा ॥
Janam mūė nahī jīvaṇ ĝsĝ.
He is born, only to die, but he does not wish to live.

ਆਇ ਚਲੇ ਭਝ ਆਸ ਨਿਰਾਸਾ ॥
आइ चले भझ आस निरासा ॥
Āė cẖalė bẖaė ĝs nirĝsĝ.
He comes hopeful, and then goes, without hope.

ਝ੝ਰਿ ਝ੝ਰਿ ਝਖਿ ਮਾਟੀ ਰਲਿ ਜਾਇ ॥
झढ़रि झढ़रि झखि माटी रलि जाइ ॥
Jẖur jẖur jẖakẖ mĝtī ral jĝė.
Regretting, repenting and grieving, he is dust mixing with dust.

ਕਾਲ੝ ਨ ਚਾਂਪੈ ਹਰਿ ਗ੝ਣ ਗਾਇ ॥
कालढ़ न चांपै हरि गढ़ण गाइ ॥
Kĝl na cẖĝʼnpai har guṇ gĝė.
Death does not chew up one who sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord.

ਪਾਈ ਨਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਨਾਇ ॥
पाई नव निधि हरि कै नाइ ॥
Pĝī nav niḝẖ har kai nĝė.
The nine treasures are obtained through the Name of the Lord;

ਆਪੇ ਦੇਵੈ ਸਹਜਿ ਸ੝ਭਾਇ ॥੨੬॥
आपे देवै सहजि सढ़भाइ ॥२६॥
Āpė ḝėvai sahj subẖĝė. ||26||
the Lord bestows intuitive peace and poise. ||26||

ਞਿਆਨੋ ਬੋਲੈ ਆਪੇ ਬੂਝੈ ॥
ञिआनो बोलै आपे बूझै ॥
Ñiĝno bolai ĝpė būjẖai.
He speaks spiritual wisdom, and He Himself understands it.

ਆਪੇ ਸਮਝੈ ਆਪੇ ਸੂਝੈ ॥
आपे समझै आपे सूझै ॥
Āpė samjẖai ĝpė sūjẖai.
He Himself knows it, and He Himself comprehends it.

ਗ੝ਰ ਕਾ ਕਹਿਆ ਅੰਕਿ ਸਮਾਵੈ ॥
गढ़र का कहिआ अंकि समावै ॥
Gur kĝ kahiĝ ank samĝvai.
One who takes the Words of the Guru into his very fiber,

ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੂਚੇ ਸਾਚੋ ਭਾਵੈ ॥
निरमल सूचे साचो भावै ॥
Nirmal sūcẖė sĝcẖo bẖĝvai.
is immaculate and holy, and is pleasing to the True Lord.

ਗ੝ਰ੝ ਸਾਗਰ੝ ਰਤਨੀ ਨਹੀ ਤੋਟ ॥
गढ़रढ़ सागरढ़ रतनी नही तोट ॥
Gur sĝgar raṯnī nahī ṯot.
In the ocean of the Guru, there is no shortage of pearls.

ਲਾਲ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਸਾਚ੝ ਅਖੋਟ ॥
लाल पदारथ साचढ़ अखोट ॥
Lĝl paḝĝrath sĝcẖ akẖot.
The treasure of jewels is truly inexhaustible.

ਗ੝ਰਿ ਕਹਿਆ ਸਾ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਵਹ੝ ॥
गढ़रि कहिआ सा कार कमावहढ़ ॥
Gur kahiĝ sĝ kĝr kamĝvahu.
Do those deeds which the Guru has ordained.

ਗ੝ਰ ਕੀ ਕਰਣੀ ਕਾਹੇ ਧਾਵਹ੝ ॥
गढ़र की करणी काहे धावहढ़ ॥
Gur kī karṇī kĝhė ḝẖĝvahu.
Why are you chasing after the Guru's actions?

ਨਾਨਕ ਗ੝ਰਮਤਿ ਸਾਚਿ ਸਮਾਵਹ੝ ॥੨੭॥
नानक गढ़रमति साचि समावहढ़ ॥२७॥
Nĝnak gurmaṯ sĝcẖ samĝvahu. ||27||
O Nanak, through the Guru's Teachings, merge in the True Lord. ||27||
