aDharam is the opposite of Dharam or righteousness, piety, religious observance,; spirituality; morality. So this term refers to non-righteous actions or deeds or thoughts; it is anti-religious behaviour; it is behaviour displayed by self-willed Manmukhs or ego-driven people. Gurmukhs do not follow the path of adharam but instead follow the "Dharam marg" or the "path of Dharam.
