18 January: Birth of Bhai Himmat Singh (1661- 7 December 1705), one of the Panj Piare (the Five Beloved) the first five Singhs, was born at Jagannath in a low-caste family of water suppliers.

May 30  : Guru Har Rai Ji who was the seventh Sikh Guru passed away on this day.


7 October : Guru Har Krishan became the eighth Guru of the Sikhs
