Talk:Mukh Gyani

The Bani seems to be pointing to a much more deceptive word or phrase. It seems Mukh Ghani compares to 'one who does not practise what he preaches.

The Bani quoted seems to be speaking to Liars and Hypocrites. Someone who pretends to be religious to advance his personal agenda. The Thuggis come to mind - the Thugs who befriended and killed their unsuspecting victims in the night - Sajjan (the friendly thug) of Tulamba comes to mind.

Like the 'snake oil' salesman, that sells you something - knowing it is worthless (hence the disdain for the car salesmen).

Snake and the word Hypocrite come more to mind. In the western world the snake because it is silent and seemingly harmless (and because of the story of Adam and Eve) snakes are killed out of ignorance, where in India this would seem an odd and almost criminal act.
