Talk:Monogamy

From SikhiWiki

This as is the wiki article is written as if males are all that matters and does not consider women or their role or reason to remain loyal to one partner. In the current day their are diseases that are terminal, that thanks to some new and usually expensive medicines this disease (SIDS) or AIDS can be be (sometimes) controlled.

The wisdom of limiting oneself to one sexual partner, as taught in Sikhi, can be clearly seen by examples of societies around the world who do not emphasize monogamy and the terrible costs in misery and death.

A woman who keeps herself chaste, who waits for sex in the bonds of marriage, is protected only if her mate also practices celibacy outside of and before their marriage.
