Clear errors== Many factual errors can be found in this article. It is clear that to give added flavour to the article and to the personality, over enthusiastic writer have added to the article without proper research. The fact below need to be investigated:

1. Jassa Singh Ramgarhia could not have fought in nearly every battle with Banda Bahadur and been five when Banda Bahadur was martyred in Delhi.

2. Jassa Singh (1723 -1803) took Pahul (the Sikh baptismal oath) from the hands of Guru Gobind Singh... not possible if he was born in 1723

3. Jassa Singh (1723 -1803) was only five years old when Guru Tegh Bahadur... cannot is correct as Guru ji was martyred in 1675.

I have re-written this section by following a logical pattern from their known dob and dod and making a few calculated assumptions based on these life spans:

  • Jassa Singh 1723 -1803;
  • Bhagwan Singh (about 1703 - 1739); father and
  • Hardas Singh (1670 - 1716); grandfather.

re the use of the word Baron

from later in the page -- The Ramgarhia federation says that Sardar Jassa Singh should be called “Maharaja” instead of “Sardar”. It says Ramgarhia conquered the territories of his contemporary Rajas, who started giving him taxes to provide security — all qualities making his ‘kingdom’ sovereign.Allenwalla 18:43, 25 April 2008 (MDT)
