This Gurdwara is associated with the Tenth Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji. This village is the birthplace of Saiyyad Pir Bhikhan Shah. Guru Gobind Singh stayed here on his way to Kurukshetra. A Ramgharia Sikh devotee of the Guru took him to his house and looked after him very well. He presented to the Guru a pair of wooden slippers that he had made with his own hands. Pleased at this, the Guru told him to ask for a boon. The Sikh asked for nothing else but the shoes that the Guru Sahib was wearing. This pair of shoes can still be seen at the Gurdwara
