ਖੋਜਤ ਖੋਜਤ ਅੰਮ੝ਰਿਤ੝ ਪੀਆ ॥
खोजत खोजत अमढ़रितढ़ पीआ ॥
Kẖojaṯ kẖojaṯ amriṯ pīĝ.
Searching, searching, I drink in the Ambrosial Nectar.

ਖਿਮਾ ਗਹੀ ਮਨ੝ ਸਤਗ੝ਰਿ ਦੀਆ ॥
खिमा गही मनढ़ सतगढ़रि दीआ ॥
Kẖimĝ gahī man saṯgur ḝīĝ.
I have adopted the way of tolerance, and given my mind to the True Guru.

ਖਰਾ ਖਰਾ ਆਖੈ ਸਭ੝ ਕੋਇ ॥
खरा खरा आखै सभढ़ कोइ ॥
Kẖarĝ kẖarĝ ĝkẖai sabẖ koė.
Everyone calls himself true and genuine.

ਖਰਾ ਰਤਨ੝ ਜ੝ਗ ਚਾਰੇ ਹੋਇ ॥
खरा रतनढ़ जढ़ग चारे होइ ॥
Kẖarĝ raṯan jug cẖĝrė hoė.
He alone is true, who obtains the jewel throughout the four ages.

ਖਾਤ ਪੀਅੰਤ ਮੂਝ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਨਿਆ ॥
खात पीअंत मूझ नही जानिआ ॥
Kẖĝṯ pīanṯ mūė nahī jĝniĝ.
Eating and drinking, one dies, but still does not know.

ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਮੂਝ ਜਾ ਸਬਦ੝ ਪਛਾਨਿਆ ॥
खिन महि मूझ जा सबदढ़ पछानिआ ॥
Kẖin meh mūė jĝ sabaḝ pacẖẖĝniĝ.
He dies in an instant, when he realizes the Word of the Shabad.

ਅਸਥਿਰ੝ ਚੀਤ੝ ਮਰਨਿ ਮਨ੝ ਮਾਨਿਆ ॥
असथिरढ़ चीतढ़ मरनि मनढ़ मानिआ ॥
Asthir cẖīṯ maran man mĝniĝ.
His consciousness becomes permanently stable, and his mind accepts death.

ਗ੝ਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਨਾਮ੝ ਪਛਾਨਿਆ ॥੧੯॥
गढ़र किरपा ते नामढ़ पछानिआ ॥१९॥
Gur kirpĝ ṯė nĝm pacẖẖĝniĝ. ||19||
By Guru's Grace, he realizes the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||19||

ਗਗਨ ਗੰਭੀਰ੝ ਗਗਨੰਤਰਿ ਵਾਸ੝ ॥
गगन गढ़मभीरढ़ गगनंतरि वासढ़ ॥
Gagan gambẖīr gagnanṯar vĝs.
The Profound Lord dwells in the sky of the mind, the Tenth Gate;

ਗ੝ਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਸ੝ਖ ਸਹਜਿ ਨਿਵਾਸ੝ ॥
गढ़ण गावै सढ़ख सहजि निवासढ़ ॥
Guṇ gĝvai sukẖ sahj nivĝs.
singing His Glorious Praises, one dwells in intuitive poise and peace.

ਗਇਆ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਆਇ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥
गइआ न आवै आइ न जाइ ॥
Gaiĝ na ĝvai ĝė na jĝė.
He does not go to come, or come to go.

ਗ੝ਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਰਹੈ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥
गढ़र परसादि रहै लिव लाइ ॥
Gur parsĝḝ rahai liv lĝė.
By Guru's Grace, he remains lovingly focused on the Lord.

ਗਗਨ੝ ਅਗੰਮ੝ ਅਨਾਥ੝ ਅਜੋਨੀ ॥
गगनढ़ अगमढ़ अनाथढ़ अजोनी ॥
Gagan agamm anĝth ajonī.
The Lord of the mind-sky is inaccessible, independent and beyond birth.

ਅਸਥਿਰ੝ ਚੀਤ੝ ਸਮਾਧਿ ਸਗੋਨੀ ॥
असथिरढ़ चीतढ़ समाधि सगोनी ॥
Asthir cẖīṯ samĝḝẖ sagonī.
The most worthy Samaadhi is to keep the consciousness stable, focused on Him.

ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ੝ ਚੇਤਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਪਵਹਿ ਨ ਜੂਨੀ ॥
हरि नामढ़ चेति फिरि पवहि न जूनी ॥
Har nĝm cẖėṯ fir paveh na jūnī.
Remembering the Lord's Name, one is not subject to reincarnation.

ਗ੝ਰਮਤਿ ਸਾਰ੝ ਹੋਰ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਹੂਨੀ ॥੨੦॥
गढ़रमति सारढ़ होर नाम बिहूनी ॥२०॥
Gurmaṯ sĝr hor nĝm bihūnī. ||20||
The Guru's Teachings are the most Excellent; all other ways lack the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||20||

ਘਰ ਦਰ ਫਿਰਿ ਥਾਕੀ ਬਹ੝ਤੇਰੇ ॥
घर दर फिरि थाकी बहढ़तेरे ॥
Gẖar ḝar fir thĝkī bahuṯėrė.
Wandering to countless doorsteps and homes, I have grown weary.

ਜਾਤਿ ਅਸੰਖ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ॥
जाति असंख अंत नही मेरे ॥
Jĝṯ asaʼnkẖ anṯ nahī mėrė.
My incarnations are countless, without limit.

ਕੇਤੇ ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਸ੝ਤ ਧੀਆ ॥
केते मात पिता सढ़त धीआ ॥
Kėṯė mĝṯ piṯĝ suṯ ḝẖīĝ.
I have had so many mothers and fathers, sons and daughters.

ਕੇਤੇ ਗ੝ਰ ਚੇਲੇ ਫ੝ਨਿ ਹੂਆ ॥
केते गढ़र चेले फढ़नि हूआ ॥
Kėṯė gur cẖėlė fun hūĝ.
I have had so many gurus and disciples.

ਕਾਚੇ ਗ੝ਰ ਤੇ ਮ੝ਕਤਿ ਨ ਹੂਆ ॥
काचे गढ़र ते मढ़कति न हूआ ॥
Kĝcẖė gur ṯė mukaṯ na hūĝ.
Through a false guru, liberation is not found.

ਕੇਤੀ ਨਾਰਿ ਵਰ੝ ਝਕ੝ ਸਮਾਲਿ ॥
केती नारि वरढ़ झकढ़ समालि ॥
Kėṯī nĝr var ėk samĝl.
There are so many brides of the One Husband Lord - consider this.

ਗ੝ਰਮ੝ਖਿ ਮਰਣ੝ ਜੀਵਣ੝ ਪ੝ਰਭ ਨਾਲਿ ॥
गढ़रमढ़खि मरणढ़ जीवणढ़ पढ़रभ नालि ॥
Gurmukẖ maraṇ jīvaṇ parabẖ nĝl.
The Gurmukh dies, and lives with God.

ਦਹ ਦਿਸ ਢੂਢਿ ਘਰੈ ਮਹਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
दह दिस ढूढि घरै महि पाइआ ॥
Ḏah ḝis dẖūdẖ gẖarai meh pĝiĝ.
Searching in the ten directions, I found Him within my own home.

ਮੇਲ੝ ਭਇਆ ਸਤਿਗ੝ਰੂ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ॥੨੧॥
मेलढ़ भइआ सतिगढ़रू मिलाइआ ॥२१॥
Mėl bẖaiĝ saṯgurū milĝiĝ. ||21||
I have met Him; the True Guru has led me to meet Him. ||21||
