ਟੂਟੈ ਨੇਹ੝ ਕਿ ਬੋਲਹਿ ਸਹੀ ॥
टूटै नेहढ़ कि बोलहि सही ॥
Tūtai nėhu ke boleh sahī.
Love is broken, when one speaks in defiance.

ਟੂਟੈ ਬਾਹ ਦ੝ਹੂ ਦਿਸ ਗਹੀ ॥
टूटै बाह दढ़हू दिस गही ॥
Tūtai bĝh ḝuhū ḝis gahī.
The arm is broken, when it is pulled from both sides.

ਟੂਟਿ ਪਰੀਤਿ ਗਈ ਬ੝ਰ ਬੋਲਿ ॥
टूटि परीति गई बढ़र बोलि ॥
Tūt parīṯ gaī bur bol.
Love breaks, when the speech goes sour.

ਦ੝ਰਮਤਿ ਪਰਹਰਿ ਛਾਡੀ ਢੋਲਿ ॥
दढ़रमति परहरि छाडी ढोलि ॥
Ḏurmaṯ parhar cẖẖĝdī dẖol.
The Husband Lord abandons and leaves behind the evil-minded bride.

ਟੂਟੈ ਗੰਠਿ ਪੜੈ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ॥
टूटै गंठि पड़ै वीचारि ॥
Tūtai ganṯẖ paṛai vīcẖĝr.
The broken knot is tied again, through contemplation and meditation.

ਗ੝ਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਘਰਿ ਕਾਰਜ੝ ਸਾਰਿ ॥
गढ़र सबदी घरि कारजढ़ सारि ॥
Gur sabḝī gẖar kĝraj sĝr.
Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, one's affairs are resolved in one's own home.

ਲਾਹਾ ਸਾਚ੝ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਤੋਟਾ ॥
लाहा साचढ़ न आवै तोटा ॥
Lĝhĝ sĝcẖ na ĝvai ṯotĝ.
One who earns the profit of the True Name, will not lose it again;

ਤ੝ਰਿਭਵਣ ਠਾਕ੝ਰ੝ ਪ੝ਰੀਤਮ੝ ਮੋਟਾ ॥੨੮॥
तढ़रिभवण ठाकढ़रढ़ पढ़रीतमढ़ मोटा ॥२८॥
Ŧaribẖavaṇ ṯẖĝkur parīṯam motĝ. ||28||
the Lord and Master of the three worlds is your best friend. ||28||

ਠਾਕਹ੝ ਮਨੂਆ ਰਾਖਹ੝ ਠਾਇ ॥
ठाकहढ़ मनूआ राखहढ़ ठाइ ॥
Ŧẖĝkahu manūĝ rĝkẖo ṯẖĝė.
Control your mind, and keep it in its place.

ਠਹਕਿ ਮ੝ਈ ਅਵਗ੝ਣਿ ਪਛ੝ਤਾਇ ॥
ठहकि मढ़ई अवगढ़णि पछढ़ताइ ॥
Ŧẖahak muī avguṇ pacẖẖuṯĝė.
The world is destroyed by conflict, regretting its sinful mistakes.

ਠਾਕ੝ਰ੝ ਝਕ੝ ਸਬਾਈ ਨਾਰਿ ॥
ठाकढ़रढ़ झकढ़ सबाई नारि ॥
Ŧẖĝkur ėk sabĝī nĝr.
There is one Husband Lord, and all are His brides.

ਬਹ੝ਤੇ ਵੇਸ ਕਰੇ ਕੂੜਿਆਰਿ ॥
बहढ़ते वेस करे कूड़िआरि ॥
Bahuṯė vės karė kūṛiĝr.
The false bride wears many costumes.

ਪਰ ਘਰਿ ਜਾਤੀ ਠਾਕਿ ਰਹਾਈ ॥
पर घरि जाती ठाकि रहाई ॥
Par gẖar jĝṯī ṯẖĝk rahĝī.
He stops her from going into the homes of others;

ਮਹਲਿ ਬ੝ਲਾਈ ਠਾਕ ਨ ਪਾਈ ॥
महलि बढ़लाई ठाक न पाई ॥
Mahal bulĝī ṯẖĝk na pĝī.
He summons her to the Mansion of His Presence, and no obstacles block her path.

ਸਬਦਿ ਸਵਾਰੀ ਸਾਚਿ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥
सबदि सवारी साचि पिआरी ॥
Sabaḝ savĝrī sĝcẖ piĝrī.
She is embellished with the Word of the Shabad, and is loved by the True Lord.

ਸਾਈ ਸਹਾਗਣਿ ਠਾਕ੝ਰਿ ਧਾਰੀ ॥੨੯॥
साई सोहागणि ठाकढ़रि धारी ॥२९॥
Sĝī sohagaṇ ṯẖĝkur ḝẖĝrī. ||29||
She is the happy soul bride, who takes the Support of her Lord and Master. ||29||

ਡੋਲਤ ਡੋਲਤ ਹੇ ਸਖੀ ਫਾਟੇ ਚੀਰ ਸੀਗਾਰ ॥
डोलत डोलत हे सखी फाटे चीर सीगार ॥
Dolaṯ dolaṯ hė sakẖī fĝtė cẖīr sīgĝr.
Wandering and roaming around, O my companion, your beautiful robes are torn.

ਡਾਹਪਣਿ ਤਨਿ ਸ੝ਖ੝ ਨਹੀ ਬਿਨ੝ ਡਰ ਬਿਣਠੀ ਡਾਰ ॥
डाहपणि तनि सढ़खढ़ नही बिनढ़ डर बिणठी डार ॥
Dĝhpaṇ ṯan sukẖ nahī bin dar biṇaṯẖī dĝr.
In jealousy, the body is not at peace; without the Fear of God, multitudes are ruined.

ਡਰਪਿ ਮ੝ਈ ਘਰਿ ਆਪਣੈ ਡੀਠੀ ਕੰਤਿ ਸ੝ਜਾਣਿ ॥
डरपि मढ़ई घरि आपणै डीठी कंति सढ़जाणि ॥
Darap muī gẖar ĝpṇai dīṯẖī kanṯ sujĝṇ.
One who remains dead within her own home, through the Fear of God, is looked upon with favor by her all-knowing Husband Lord.

ਡਰ੝ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਗ੝ਰਿ ਆਪਣੈ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਾਮ੝ ਵਖਾਣਿ ॥
डरढ़ राखिआ गढ़रि आपणै निरभउ नामढ़ वखाणि ॥
Dar rĝkẖiĝ gur ĝpṇai nirbẖao nĝm vakẖĝṇ.
She maintains fear of her Guru, and chants the Name of the Fearless Lord.

ਡੂਗਰਿ ਵਾਸ੝ ਤਿਖਾ ਘਣੀ ਜਬ ਦੇਖਾ ਨਹੀ ਦੂਰਿ ॥
डूगरि वासढ़ तिखा घणी जब देखा नही दूरि ॥
Dūgar vĝs ṯikẖĝ gẖaṇī jab ḝėkẖĝ nahī ḝūr.
Living on the mountain, I suffer such great thirst; when I see Him, I know that He is not far away.

ਤਿਖਾ ਨਿਵਾਰੀ ਸਬਦ੝ ਮੰਨਿ ਅੰਮ੝ਰਿਤ੝ ਪੀਆ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥
तिखा निवारी सबदढ़ मंनि अमढ़रितढ़ पीआ भरपूरि ॥
Ŧikẖĝ nivĝrī sabaḝ man amriṯ pīĝ bẖarpūr.
My thirst is quenched, and I have accepted the Word of the Shabad. I drink my fill of the Ambrosial Nectar.

ਦੇਹਿ ਦੇਹਿ ਆਖੈ ਸਭ੝ ਕੋਈ ਜੈ ਭਾਵੈ ਤੈ ਦੇਇ ॥
देहि देहि आखै सभढ़ कोई जै भावै तै देइ ॥
Ḏeh ḝeh ĝkẖai sabẖ koī jai bẖĝvai ṯai ḝėė.
Everyone says, "Give! Give!" As He pleases, He gives.

ਗ੝ਰੂ ਦ੝ਆਰੈ ਦੇਵਸੀ ਤਿਖਾ ਨਿਵਾਰੈ ਸੋਇ ॥੩੦॥
गढ़रू दढ़आरै देवसी तिखा निवारै सोइ ॥३०॥
Gurū ḝuĝrai ḝėvsī ṯikẖĝ nivĝrai soė. ||30||
Through the Gurdwara, the Guru's Door, He gives, and quenches the thirst. ||30||
